Hello! I’m Kara and I've been a stylist for 17 years and been at Shag Salon for 5 years.

With over 17 years of experience as a hairstylist, I’m passionate about creating personalized hair care that suits your unique look and lifestyle. I take my time with each client to ensure we find a style that not only looks amazing but also works seamlessly with your everyday routine. Whether you’re looking for lived-in natural color that grows out beautifully, grey coverage that blends seamlessly, brightening blonding services, smooth and frizz-free keratin straightening, or a customized haircut, I’ve got you covered.

I live in Bend, Oregon, with my husband and two kids. Outside of the salon, I love creating stained glass art, enjoying outdoor adventures with my family, and going to live music events.
