Hello! I’m Melanie and I've been a stylist for 30 years and been at Shag Salon forever!
I grew up in Salem, C.O. and have 2 kids, 1 dog, 2 cats, 2 geckos and 2 snakes. It’s always a zoo at my house.
I specialize in doing mens haircuts and especially love doing any barbering services. I have tons of advanced training in specialized precision haircutting techniques.
I placed 2nd at nationals in a mens barbering competition and was once a stylist for a Willie Nelson video in the mid 90s.
On the weekends and when I am not in the salon you can always find me paddle boarding. In my “spare time” I also teach fitness and jewelry making classes.
I currently am accepting new clients and book about 4 weeks ahead.
